Product sourcing

How product reaches the shelf

Sourcing is not just buying abroad. It is supplier vetting, fixed specification, freight, clearance, cold storage and grading — six links where imported food is usually lost, and where we hold the chain together.

The sourcing chain

Six links, none of them outsourced

From supplier vetting to the delivery van, each step is run by our own team under ISO 9001, ISO 22000 and HACCP certified systems.

  1. 01

    Supplier selection & vetting

We work with 39+ suppliers across 15 countries — relationships built over years of direct visits rather than through brokers. Suppliers are assessed for certification, consistency of grade and their ability to hold a schedule.

  2. 02

    Specification & order

Grade, size, pack format and delivery window are fixed in writing before an order is placed, so what lands matches what the client was quoted.

  3. 03

    Freight & documentation

Air freight for short-shelf-life produce, refrigerated sea freight for volume. Import documentation, phytosanitary and health certification are prepared ahead of arrival to avoid clearance delays.

  4. 04

    Clearance & cold storage

Consignments move straight from clearance into temperature-controlled storage — 110 tons of cold storage at Tejgaon and the BADC facility at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport.

  5. 05

    Grading & quality check

Every lot is graded on arrival for size, colour break and defect rate under our HACCP and ISO 22000 systems, and released only against specification.

  6. 06

    Distribution

Refrigerated delivery on a fixed schedule to supershops, hotels, institutional buyers and the wholesale markets — 200+ distribution points nationwide.

Ways of working

Four ways companies source through us

Whether you are a brand entering Bangladesh, a retailer filling a category, or an overseas buyer looking for Bangladeshi product.

For overseas brands entering Bangladesh

Brand representation

We hold representation for international brands in Bangladesh — handling import, regulatory compliance, warehousing, distribution and retail placement as a single agreement.

For retailers, hotels and wholesalers

Category sourcing to order

Tell us the specification, preferred origin and volume. We identify suppliers, negotiate, import and land it — you deal with one Bangladeshi counterparty instead of a foreign supply chain.

For private-label programmes

Own-brand development

ARISA, Fatima and Madina are our own labels — product specified, produced and packed abroad or locally, and imported under our own brand and pricing control.

For international buyers

Export from Bangladesh

Premium Bangladeshi food products sourced, packed and shipped directly to overseas buyers, already running to Japan, Canada, France, the Netherlands, Malaysia and Saudi Arabia.

Presence

Offices in five countries

Own presence in key sourcing and trade markets — people on the ground rather than agents at a distance.
